Partner Agreement

For DJs registered on the DJ Tunez platform · Last updated: 27 February 2026

1. Introduction

This Partner Agreement ("Agreement") governs the relationship between DJ Tunez ("we", "us", "the Platform") and you, a registered DJ ("Partner", "DJ") who uses our platform to receive and manage paid song requests from fans at live events.

By registering as a DJ on DJ Tunez, you agree to be bound by this Agreement in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

To become a DJ partner on DJ Tunez, you must:
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Complete the DJ registration process, including identity verification.
  • Connect a valid payment account to receive payouts.
  • Agree to and comply with the terms of our payment processing provider, as applicable.
  • Ensure you hold any necessary performance licences required by law in the jurisdictions where you perform.

3. Platform Fee & Revenue Share

DJ Tunez charges a platform fee on each completed song request transaction. This fee covers payment processing costs and platform operations. The current fee breakdown is displayed in your DJ dashboard before you begin accepting requests.

The platform fee is deducted automatically before your payout is calculated. You will always be able to see the net amount you will receive for each request in your dashboard.

DJ Tunez reserves the right to adjust the platform fee with reasonable notice. You will be informed of any fee changes via the email address associated with your account before they take effect.

4. Payouts

  • Payouts are processed through our payment processing partner to your connected bank account. Standard processing timelines apply (typically 2–7 business days depending on your location and bank).
  • You are responsible for maintaining accurate and current bank account details in your DJ dashboard. DJ Tunez is not liable for failed payouts due to incorrect information.
  • You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any taxes applicable to income received through the platform in your jurisdiction.
  • Payouts will not be processed if your account is suspended or under investigation for fraud or policy violations.

5. DJ Obligations

As a DJ partner, you agree to:
  • Use the platform in good faith and in a manner consistent with these terms.
  • Set fair and lawful prices for song requests.
  • Keep your event information accurate and up to date (venue, date, start time, end time, active status).
  • Not collect payments for events that are not taking place or have already ended.
  • Not use the platform to process payments for services other than live song requests.
  • Not artificially inflate request counts or engage in any form of payment fraud.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and venue regulations at performances.

6. Artistic Discretion

DJ Tunez acknowledges that DJs retain full artistic discretion over the music they play. Accepting a paid song request into your queue does not create a contractual obligation to play that song. However, DJs should exercise this discretion fairly and not use it as a mechanism to collect payments without any genuine intent to consider requests.

7. Prohibited Conduct

DJ partners must not:
  • Create fake or duplicate events to collect payments fraudulently.
  • Share account credentials with third parties.
  • Attempt to manipulate the platform's systems, fees, or payout calculations.
  • Use the platform to harass, threaten, or defraud fans.
  • Violate any applicable laws, including those related to money laundering, tax evasion, or consumer protection.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

DJ Tunez may suspend or permanently terminate a DJ partner account at any time if:
  • The DJ violates any provision of this Agreement or the Terms of Use.
  • We receive credible evidence of fraud, deceptive conduct, or illegal activity.
  • The DJ's payment account is suspended, closed, or flagged by our payment processing partner.
  • The account has been inactive for an extended period with no events or activity.
Pending payouts for legitimately completed requests will be honoured upon account termination unless the account is suspended due to fraud.

9. Liability

DJ Tunez provides the platform as a technology intermediary and is not a party to the transaction between DJs and fans. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DJ Tunez shall not be liable for:
  • Disputes between DJs and fans regarding song requests or event experiences.
  • Loss of earnings due to platform downtime, payment processing delays, or events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Any fines, penalties, or liabilities arising from a DJ's failure to hold the required performance licences.

10. Amendments

We may update this Partner Agreement from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the DJ platform after changes to this Agreement constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we will provide advance notice via your registered email address.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
